What is the best Moisturizering foundation for dry skin.?


I have really really dry skin even if i use moisturizing cream it under my makeup it doesnt help.


Please list some good brand nothing too expensive.

The best Moisturizing cream I use is Johnson's Softlotion 24 hour moisture. Out of all the other creams I use this one is the best.

Reply:I also have really really dry skin, and I use Bare Essentials Mineral Makeup. I was skeptical at first, because it is a powder, but I love it!!!! My skin tone is more even, also it doesn't further dry or break out my face.





In addition to using this make up I wash my face at night and moisturize with olive oil and a spritz of glycerin and in the morning rinse my face with warm water and use a moisturizer with Hyaluronic Acid (I prefer Sephora Brand FACE Moisturizing Cream - Dry Skin it contains -Shea Butter, -Lotus Extract, -Pro-Vitamin B5, -Hyaluronic Acid, -Borage Oil, and -Vitamin E). Also, I exfoliate 2-3 times a week with C.O. Bigelow Brown Sugar Scrub and apply a moisturizing mask either the C.O. Bigelow Sea Weed Mask or an Olive Oil Mask.





Needless to say this is a hefty combination, but it seems to work for me. Also, I know you asked about foundation, but this skincare combo + the natural coverage from the Bare Essentials Mineral Makeup is working wonders for me and has no chemicals (another major benefit for those of us suffering from very dry skin).
