What is the best acne treatment for my skin?

i have blotchy skin, even when its clear (that happened mayb once in the past two years.) I have acne in the "t-zone" and on my chest and back- talk about all time GROSS! i have tried pro active i have seen a dermatologist and other stuff.


I have a range of acne. like i have black heads on my nose. but i get the white pimples sometimes on my forhead and chin. I have acne that seems to be under my skin also, its on my forehad cheeks and chin.


At the momen i am using an apricot scrub and that Clean and Clear astringent. my frnd told it works... its ok... my face isnt dry...


does anyone have any solutions? if so please share, answers would be MUCH appreciated. %26lt;33

I'm not a fan of astringent, However I use the Clean and Clear make-up remover on my whole face because it removes oil and such and that combined with the Apricot scrub worked out GREAT for me. Try not to use too many products though which may trigger your acne more. My face gets a bit dry when I get out the shower but I don't put moistrizer on because my natural oils usually take care of that problem within a few moments.

Try Proactive. I've used it. It works.
Reply:Well, I would say take that new birth control Yaz (or whatever it's name is) to control the acne.
Reply:Proactive worked for me for a while. Then I started breaking out worse than ever. I got cysts on my face!! Its horrible. Now I'm trying "purpose" face soap because it's pure %26amp; has no chemicals or acids. Good luck to you, cuz I don't have any!
Reply:theres a product called La Roche-Posay (Effaclar) which works very well for me.. it gets the pimples off fast and i used to have a lot
Reply:Salicylic acid peels can work wonders...


They do a number on your face though and you look like a burn victim for about a week, so don't have one done when you are going to have something important going on.


Oh, and if you get one have it done before summer if you are out in the sun any...
