Anybody knows why with the latest version of Yahoo Messenger (installed under Win98) I cannot change skins?

same problem was encoutered with 7.50 module , changed when i


ve installed an Yahoo Multimessenger instead . It is because of Windows 98 ? Thank you!
Anybody knows why with the latest version of Yahoo Messenger (installed under Win98) I cannot change skins?
To use skins with Yahoo! Messenger 7.5 and 8.0, just go to the 'Messenger' drop down field, click on 'Change Skin', and select one of the skins in the drop down field.





To get more skins, follow these instructions:





-Download WinZip from www.winzip.com if you do not already have this program


-Go to http://messenger.yahoo.com/feat_skins.ph...


-Click 'Download' next to the skin you want


-Select all of the .bmp files that appear (click on the top file, hold down the shift key, scroll to the bottom, and click on the last file)


-Click 'Extract'


-Select 'Local Disk (C:)


-Click 'Extract'


-Now go to the 'Messenger' drop down field in Yahoo! Messenger


-Select 'Change Skin'


-Select the new skin from the drop down field


-Click 'Ok'
