its on the bottom of her hand and grows outward all to different places. docs said it was fungal but the creme doesnt stop it. the skin gets hard. scaly. but not ichy and not that sensitive. the bubbles are under the skin, but come up and blow up on the skin then repeat. everytime the bubbles blow up it appears in other places. its reached over to her other hand and now two other spots on the first infected hand. She went to some old dermatologist who looked ancient. He said it looks lie an allegic reaction. he tossed her some cream that were expired by a year or more and sent her out the door. i wish doctors knew what they were doing. any one have some knowledge of what this could be and if i should be worried of her spreading it to me?
Okay, my girlfriend has a circle of dry skin that bubbles and turns red?
go to a different dermatologist. might be psoriasis. i get the same thing, but it only lasts a few days. he might put her on a med called ENBREL, NAFTIN, or UREA cream. don't bother with any over the counter stuff, a doctor can get it taken care of. if she waits too long, she may end up with scarring, or it will just keep spreading. could be an allergic reaction to a different soap, shampoo, dish washing liquid, or even laundry detergent . either way, get it checked. find a better doctor. plus expired medication probably wouldn't work anyway. good luck

ew.
Reply:Yeah, it's most likely to be an allergic reaction, either to some particular thing or related to the weather. Does she seem to get this reaction during any particular time of the year, ex....change in climate from hot to cold or cold to hot?
Did she notice this change recently or did she have this for many years?
She may need to use steroid creams.
Reply:Sounds like exzema or something close in that family. She needs to see a better dermatologist, and I would not worry about catching it, it probably has something to do with her on body make up.
