Found a lump on my Labia Majora near the Vaginal Entrance?

I found a lump while shaving, it's under the skin and quite large, its hard but doesn't hurt. I'm so worried i'm going abroad tomorrow so i can't go and see a Dr and i'm worried its going to ruin my time away. It's not an STD i was checked before being with my current partner who was a virgin before me.

Are you sure hes a virgin? He could be lieing, and maybe you should try and find out a local doctor to where your going on hospital, and go see him. When i was a id i got ill and we found out where the nearest and best doctor was from the locals and went there, it didnt take long and it wasnt inconviniencing them. Maybe if you get it checked out, they might know what it is and then they could tell you if its anything to be worried about. Im sure theyll be able to speak English, or at least someone in the doctors will.

It could be an ingrown hair if you shave there. I get them sometimes and they don't always hurt and some of them start out as a lump under the skin.

Reply:Yes, it could be an ingrown hair or a clogged lubricating gland of the vagina. It may go away on its own. If it becomes painful and does not go away it may need treatment.
Reply:It could be a bartholin gland cyst. I have had one. It was a pea sized lump under the skin that eventually ruptured on its own and never came back. It is due to a build up of bacteria, just like any cyst. If you are prone to cystic acne, you may also be more likely to get one. They are harmless and usually not super painful. If it gets big, you will need to go and have it lanced to drain the bacteria. There are tons of sites about it. Just google it.
Reply:well im going to tell you to go get it checked out as soom as possible..........because it could be a blood clot....wich my mom had in her breast and yea..........or it could be cancer because my friends mom who was sexually active found a lump around the same place you did and she went and got it checked out and she found out it was cancer......but they caught it just in time........but she still goes in and get everythng checked out every month or 2..........o yea this just happened to her about a year ago.........so please go and get it checked out asap
