My cat has a lump under his chin?
My friend's cat had one and it was just a popped blood vessel. The vet drained it a little and the cat was fine. Good Luck!

i wouldnt worry about this too much. they probably just got a bug bite. but if it is serious, i would go see a vet and ask what they think is wrong.
Reply:it could be an abscess but you should take him to the vet thats the only person who is qualified to tell you what it is and what treatment is required
Reply:if it is soft then it probably nothing too serious- however any lump needs to be seen by a vet soon
Reply:it could be a bug bite, or just something that was always there. if you said under the skin, that takes away the idea of an engorged tick. I don't know. Sometimes they have this on horses, and it's no big deal. Call your vet and just ask him what it could be, you probably shouldnt have to drive there or anything. It doesnt sound that serious
Reply:Sometimes cats will get a bump or bumps on their chin from their food bowl. Have you changed dishes, or does the cat really spend a lot of time with his face in the bowl? Sometimes a metal bowl or lower edged bowl can help.
Reply:That could be serious, I would get to a vet. If it is cancer, it can be cut off if caught early, and cured. It also could be feline acne, which is also very serious because it can spread into the system and cause a serious infection.
Reply:Sometimes it is the small things that can be serious. Best to take your cat to the vet ASAP to have it checked out as some things can only be treated if seen to in the early stages. Then again it could be nothing but the peace of mind is well worth it. If you are low on cash perhaps you could call the vet and speak to someone there. they may ask you questions about it and let you know what they think it could be and if it is worth seeing the vet.

I have a small lump under my left armpit, could it be cancerous?

A few days ago I noticed a small lump under my armpit. I just gave birth 6 weeks ago and I wonder if it has anything to do with hormones. It is kind of sore to the touch. It is right under the skin, not deep at all. I'm 27 years old and I'm hoping that this is not cancerous but I'm pretty nervous about it.

Go see a doctor just incase that way you will know for sure what it is
I have a small lump under my left armpit, could it be cancerous?
it might be a sist....... i think thats how you spell it
Reply:no way to tell until it is biopsied
Reply:It might or might not be. The only way to tell is to see your doctor. Dont wait to long. Early prevention is everything if it is cancer. Best of luck!
Reply:It's probably a blocked milk duct (that happened to me) but be sure to talk with your doctor about it.
Reply:Probably a swollen gland, changes in hormones can make them swell; especially that one. But nevertheless, it needs to be checked out by a doc, just to make sure:)
Reply:It's probably your lymph node. Check it out with the doctor, he can give you the right meds and advice for you.
Reply:It's most likely an ingrown hair.... or it could be a form of acne.... does it have a head... I've known people who have had red bumps under their armpits and they were ingrown hairs that probably what it is. This is caused alot of the times by not shaving enough or not consistently. Don't skip days!
Reply:when you go see your doctor at your 6 week checkup, mention it. it could be nothing at all, or it could be something that needs to be looked at. did you bu any changes hit the under arm?
Reply:im no dr. but if its right under the skin and sore to the touch then chances are pretty good it is not cancer, have a dr. check it out

I have a circular rash on my skin. what is is?

the rash started out looking red, like dry skin -- I scratched it and then it appeared to get redder, as is slightly bleeding under the skin. It is a complete circle and very large -- on my breast. i am pregnant. It doesn't hurt but is very obvious. what the hell is it?
I have a circular rash on my skin. what is is?
I am not a doctor, but I will soon be going to school for nursing and it sounds like to me it may be ring worm. It isnt anything very serious, just call your docs office and schedule an appointment and they can give a cream or antibiotics.

It could be ringworm. Go to your doctor and see if there is any medicine you can use while pregnant.

Have Ferrum Met 30 b.d. * 7 days a homoeopathic Medicine
Reply:It could be ringworm....do a google search for more info. It's easily treatable with OTC creams.

Purple veins under my eyes?

I've got these thin purple veins that have started to emerge under the skin below my eyes. I really hate them and I'm starting to see more showing up.

Does anyone know what these are and how I can get rid of them, or at least prevent anymore from appearing?

Sounds like a male yeast infection. Go to the doc... or try some monistat 7..LMAOO

And use a condom next time!!

PS... the body normally does this... even on a woman... but if it is excessive.. and smells... see a DOC.

Apply virgin Coco nut oil and do yoga ( Pranayama ) regularly.

Reply:Man, don't experiment with creams and lotions. Consult a doctor and get appropriate remedy.

Small bump on my chin under my ear?

Theirs this small pimple size bump under my ear on the side of my face like chin area its under my skin what is it?
Small bump on my chin under my ear?
Is it right next to the jaw? It may be a temporary inflammation of the lymph nodes in that region. If you tend to have sinus problems and /or allergies, this is most likely what it is, particularly if it is tender to the touch.

If it isn't tender, and is very rigid under the skin, best to see your physician.

Reply:It could possibly be a carotid artery aneurysm. If you are in any doubt consult your doctor

HELP!!!!!!! new medication for skin?

i have had an outbreak of that under the skin, super sore acne around my jaw for the past few months and i have NEVER HAD ACNE before in my life. i finally broke down and went to a dermatologist who prescribed an antibiotic (bactrim ds) a face wash (benzoyl peroxide or something) and differin gel (.3%).

MY FACE IS RED AND DRY AND HURTS LIKE A SUNBURN!!!! does it do this before it starts to get better, or is the medication just too much to handle?? what should i do???
HELP!!!!!!! new medication for skin?
It is common for the benzoyl peroxide and the differn gel to make your skin very red and irritated. It may start to go away after your skin get used to it, or it may not. You can try laying down an putting a damp washcloth on your face to help. I had the same thing occur to me when I was younger. Also you may try just using less of the gel. If it gets really bad, call the dermatologist to see if you can use the gel as spot treatment or if they can give you something else. When you wash your face try to be more gentle with the skin (don't scrub really hard). For now if it really hurts consider taking some tylenol or ibuprofen to help with the pain.
