What is the best facial moisturizer to use under make-up?

My skin is horribly dry in the winter because of the heating in our home. I wear foundation every day. All winter last year I used "Oil of Olay active hydrating beauty fluid" under my make-up, but it didn't make my skin better. I don't care if I have to use a product every day, but it HAS to work because I'm am so self-conscious about the condition of my face. The foundation I use is "Cover Girl Tru-blend" liquid foundation. I have read so many questions on here about this, but no one mentioned the same product twice, so I'm still not sure what to try. Any suggestions?

i use "clean and clear" face moisturizer under my makeup. it works.
Reply:1. Drink at least 1.5 litres of water a day. It doesn't have to be mineral water - tap is fine. You need to moisturise your skin from the inside too, especially as our bodies are 70% water. Most people don't drink nearly enough. That will improve your skin, promise.





2. In your bedroom, put a saucer of water near the radiator, to keep the air a bit more moisturised. Sounds daft but it works!.





3. At night, add a drop or two of pure vitamin e oil (from any health food shop) to your moisturiser.





4. Try a Cover Girl moisturising foundation.
