Bags (or dark circles) CONSTANTLY under my eyes!?

yeahh, ok you know those dark cicles you get under your eyes whenever your tired? well i seem to always have them. i dont have pale skin or anything (i'm asian) and i do get my 8 hours most of the time, so i dont think its due to a lack of sleep. my mom tells me it looks really unhealthy, and i have to agree with her. they're VERY noticable, and it makes me self conscious. ive tried foundation, but it doesnt seem to work. does anyone know why i seem to have these bags under my eyes all the time? is it just because of my skin color or what? is there anything i can do to get rid of them? im 14...and im asian if that helps out at all. thanks(:

There are many causes of dark circles, from age, heredity, allergies, cold or sinus infection, bone structure and glasses which are not so commonly known.

If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:

Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water %26amp; stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath %26amp; let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K %26amp; Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

To hide dark circles, you can use YSL concealer or salmon concealer..

try concealer works for me especially in your shade
Reply:do you use eyeliner cause that causes my dark circles if not applyed right + rubing my eyes when i have eyeliner...if you do use eyeliner it takes up to 3 days for the circles to completly go away
Reply:Im 1/2 asian. And i have the same probelm. A good concealer helps, but also cucumbers help that also. One day a week i would try giving yourself a good facial and cut two slices of cucumbers and just relax for a little while with them over your eyes.

Hope this Helps
Reply:try to put on some tea bags under those and also dont use concealer it makes it worse.
Reply:maybe you have some kind of health problem, ie an infection or thyroid problems. maybe your anemic. do you feel tired even when youve slept well? if so, that could be a sign of these things. if youve always had these dark circles its prolly just the way you are, but if its something thats started recently you might want to see a doctor and make sure theres no health issues that are causing it.
Reply:take used tea bags and cool it in fridge...then place them on ur eyes for 15 minutes...do it thrice a week.

try cucumber even

i hope this helped!
Reply:try concealer if that doesn't really work try cucumbers but them on your eyes they make your skin lighter so it should make your bags not as noticeable
Reply:I know how you feel! I'm 18 and have had dark circles under my eyes forever. Does anyone else in your family have them? I know mine are hereditary. Nothing really you can do with hereditary dark circles though. Get 8 hours of sleep, lay off tea/coffee/soda and try to drink 8 glasses of water a day (or as many waterbottles as you can) and eat healthy.

I just use a concealer. Any brand will do really. I use Dermablend ( http://www.dermablend.com ) but if thats too expensive for you, try to find something like Physicians Formula ( http://www.physiciansformula.com ) .. look for a SALMON or YELLOW colored concealer. Salmon works for me since I have pink undertones; most asians I know have yellow undertones so maybe a yellow concealer will work for you the best. Moisturize your face (and undereyes) and then put the concealer on, blend blend blend, and then put your foundation on. If you dont use any makeup, just moisturize, conceal, blend, and put some powder over it.

You can also go to the Dermatologist and ask if you can get a lightening cream. They have them specially made for under eyes.

If you think its more puffyness (bags) then try COLD spoons under your eyes for 10-15 minutes. (put in the freezer before bed and take them out in the morning and put under your eyes) -- or -- take cucumers and put them in ice water for about 5 minutes, then put under your eyes for 10-15 minutes (or thin potato slices) -- or -- take some tea bags and put them in hott water, then ring them out and put them under your eyes for at least 15 minutes.

Hope that helps! :]
