Skin so soft by Avon?

ask a question about repelling mosquito's from biting and a lot of people recommended skin so soft, looked on avon's website %26amp; there is loads under this range name, is it the whole range that repells them or any specific item?
Skin so soft by Avon?
I do remember an insect repellent sold by Avon by Im not sure its under Skin so soft. I think you would be better off using proper mosquito repellent purchased from the chemists.
Skin so soft by Avon?
I used to sell Avon, it's the whole range
Reply:That stuff is awful! Sorry Avon, but that SSS is so greasy and even smells a little perfum-ish once on. Mosquitos are attracted to dark clothes and perfum. I really think there are better items out there. Just had to put my 2cents in! GL
Reply:its the skin so soft bath oil spray.

it should be in a spray bottle
Reply:i used to be an agent for AVON until i found out that some products contain anti freeze...especially face creams and other moisturisers, check the back of the products before using them
Reply:they all do, i work for Avon and use them and a lot of my clients say it works, and they buy it for their holidays.
Reply:there lotion and body spray work best
Reply:It is the Bath Oil that you want. I Love it..It has so many purposes, besides repelling Mosquitos. It is great for Cleaning Glass Shower doors, and it will get Gum out of Carpet or hair.. I keep it in stock in my Home all the time..
Reply:I am pretty sure its the plain original SSS...however Avon has a product that is made for repelling bugs...I don't know the name right off hand it comes in a wipes and sprays..I use the wipes and they are great.
Reply:there are a lot of different items from skin so soft, but for bug repellant there are some sprays and lotions. to name a few, one spray is Bug Guard Plus Picaridin Aerosol spray. and one lotion is Bug Guard Plus IR3535 SPF 30 lotion. there are some others too.
Reply:I'm not sure SSS has any insect repellent as part of their range! I think some-one is teasing you. Personally i think the SSS range from Avon is really good, but thats just my opinion. Ithink you're better off just getting one from Boots (providing you're in the UK)
Reply:Unless its better than it used to be Id hardly call SSS a repellant....My sister in law swore by the stuff and we were with them at a campout........her kids were being eaten alive, so I snuck them off and sprayed them with the stuff I had
Reply:its the whole range
Reply:Yeah i know what you mean. I think any of the Skin so soft products work as they've all got the ingredient in it that repells insects. I used it when i was in Kos (just the normal moisturiser stuff) and it worked for me.
Reply:It's the skin so soft bath oil but Avon do sell a bug repellent that has a nice fragrance and leaves your skin feeling soft. You can also, get the bug repellent that has SPF in it.
Reply:The entire Skin So Soft line works well on mosquitos. Most people used the Bath Oil (although Avon does not promote it as a repellant). Avon does have a line called Skin So Soft Bug Guard which is DEET-free; and works very well.

This week they are half off the regular price, and shipping is a standard Flat Rate of $3.00 regardless of your order size.

You can check the full range of products at http://atrautz.avonrepresentative.com
Reply:I would go for the original fragrance coz its much nicer than the others.............think its called "woodland" or something like that.
Reply:Yes, the whole range of products work as a mosquito repellent. I am one of the world's worst for attracting mosquitoes, and it really does work!

Let me know if you need anything else... :)
Reply:Its the whole range and it does work, I sell a lot of it!

Reply:Skin so Soft- Soft and Sensual-Creamy Body Buffer

Skin so Soft-Soft and Sensual -Shower gel

Skin so Soft-Soft and Sensual-Body lotion

I used to get eaten alive before these products were recommended to me and now I don't get bitten at all, I can definitely recommend them.I take all 3 on holiday with me and if I can go to Cuba and the Dominican Republic and get NO bites I think it speaks for itself.
Reply:"For decades rumor has held that Skin-So-Soft Bath Oil is an effective counter to mosquitoes, yet a 1993 Consumer Reports analysis found it ineffective for that purpose. Because so many people were buying the product for its purported mosquito combating properties, in 1994 Avon added a non-DEET repellent and a sunscreen to the popular bath oil and began marketing the new concoction as Avon Skin-So-Soft Bug Guard Repellent. Avon disputes the 2002 results posted in the New England Journal of Medicine study, claiming its Bug Guard Repellent works for three hours, not the 10.3 minutes for its Bug Guard Repellent and the 22.9 minutes for its Bug Guard Repellent Plus the study found, but a 2003 Consumer Reports analysis found the Skin-So-Soft repellent deterred mosquitoes for only one hour.
