How can you keep your natural skin color when you spend a long time outside?

for track we spend about and hour outside each day training; so we're under the sun for a long time. staying outside makes my skin tan and feel a bit dry. the problem is that our school doesnt allow lotions or sunscreen brought to school; if you do you get suspended. can someone tell me how i can keep my skin its natural color and not get a tan? also a way to keep it healthy? thanks!

That doesn't sound legal. What if some one has sun allergies or sun burns easily. I would have your mother write a note to the principle. Let him know that sun block is protection from skin cancer. Then demand that your given permission.

That's ridiculous. Until then you should wear long sleeve shirts and yoga pants. That will help.

ur school doesnt allow lotion...???? thats crazy
Reply:wow thats a harsh rule. well the school should have some sunscreen shouldn't it?? also, wear a hat and put on sunscreen before you go to school and then when you come home from school.
Reply:I know that you could sue them for not letting you use sunscreen when you're going to be outside now-a-days that is legally a health risk. As for what else you could do... i have no idea.
Reply:Put sun screen on before you go to school.
Reply:I'm pretty sure that's illegal. Everyone has the right to not get a tan if they don't want to! I would find some foundation with SPF in it...
Reply:wear Under Armour long sleeves. Try putting sunscreen on before you go to school.
Reply:buy skin bleach ul be white in no time
Reply:Yeah that is ridiculous that your school doesn't allow for lotions/sunscreens. Your school could get in serious trouble for that considering some people may have serious skin conditions/problems. How will they know if you bring something; do they check everyone's bag everyday? Well if they don't I say put some in a "not so obvious" container, like a non-clear bottle (without labels) that is small enough to put in your purse or pocket. When you go to the bathroom, put it on then! They can't watch you in the bathroom....at least I hope not! lol...But yeah the student body and parents really need to come together and change that...You all have the power to.
