I've noticed over the last few years more and more skin tags and warts appearing on my eyelids and under my eyebrows. Is there a quick and cheap way to get rid of them?

See a dermatologist or ophthalmologist, but it won't be covered under insurance because it is cosmetic.
Honestly...I always remove my own skin tags, even off my eyelids. However, I have training and some very sharp, fine scissors that I know how to use!

Reply:Some GPs will tackle these for free, so it is worth asking. Unfortunately otherwise it is solely cosmetic and will not be done under the NHS. If you ring your local private hospital they may be prepared to give you a price over the phone.

Eyelid skin tags is a phenomena that passes through the women of my family. From Grandma to Momma to me.. Since we are of poor Appalachian heritage we of course relied on home made remedies. But this one didn't even require an herb, poltice or salve. Simply, once the tag is of a size to be able to grasp with your fingers you spend any idle time twisting the tag first clockwise, then counter clockwise. This cuts off the blood supply and within just a few days the tag falls off! I am 64 years old now and have removed a number of tags this way with no ill effects.
