Really big skin problem with acne?

My skin drys out REALLY easily. I can't use the same product once and do it the next day again. Yet under that is like somewhat bumpy, but not....like discolered skin and I have a few pimples around to. NOTHING works. All kinds of skin products.....no help. Not even AcneFree. My skin seems to be worse in different lighting......or better. Is this really acne? Should I get Proactiv? Is the lighting thing just my pores?
Really big skin problem with acne?
Well, I used to have that problem to, only mine was too oily. I have this oil free face wash that makes it even oilyer, maybe you want to try that. It is amber colored and has a white pump! and you can try clear-a-sil astringent. that's what i use.
Really big skin problem with acne?
try turn around creme from clinique(it is also moisturizing) and every once in a while use an acne creme to sluff off dead skin

worked for my sensitive face
Reply:i believe it is some type of acne i cant judge because i cant see it. Maybe you should try proactiv. Or try a skin lightning lotion for your face. Did you ever try Nozxema? or Neutrogena? They work.
Reply:yes u should it the acne product that is sweeping the nation world wide.
Reply:On a lot of acne products (probably all of them) it says the product may cause peeling or drying, and if that happens you can decrease the use to once a day or every other day.
Reply:I think you're being too critical of yourself! Just go to the dermatologist or something and you might want to try Proactiv. I used Proactiv and it stopped working after awhile. -_- But...you'll find something! ;-)

Just quit saying this: NOTHING works.

If you keep on saying NOTHING WORKS, nothing will work!
Reply:Drying of the skin usually occurs even more with products that contain Salicylic Acid, that's why when you use acne products they recommend for you to use sunscreen. Proactive really didn't work for me, on the contrary i broke out even more. You should see a dermatologist.
Reply:Although many people will suggest Proactive, it is pretty harsh on your skin. It has so many chemicals in it that it will even bleach towels, etc - so, imagine what it's doing to your skin! I've also heard from many friends that once you stop using it, the acne gets even worse - some of my friends even started having acne on parts of their face where they didn't start out having it!

A more gentle approach to treating and preventing acne while getting smoother skin, more radiant skin is using Clinique products. They have a three step system equivalent to that of Proactive but MUCH more gentle and more efficient (it just recently came out, and is getting rave reviews!). They also have another 3-step system that you can use - a Clinique salesperson can help you choose which is better. They also have trial products of both (meaning smaller packages that you can purchase, or free trial sizes), so you can try them out risk free (if you're not satisfied, you CAN return the purchased product)!

So, I would try with a more gentle product first :)

Best of luck! :)
Reply:wow. i have the exact same problem that you do. i just bought acnefree today, but i havent tried it yet. ive been using proactiv for the last 3 months and have seen NO improvement. It was a huge waste of money for me...!

good luck!!!!!!
Reply:As per a report many anti-acne products are known to worsen rosacea symptoms. Medical experts strongly urge rosacea sufferers to stop using these products.

Rosacea is a common skin condition that affects many Americans, but it can also spread to the eyes and cause a constant gritty, burning sensation.

I have been in search a product that works on my skin, I finally found it on one of acne rosacea review site. I use ZENMED Skin Support System - Dry Skin, and I saw results in weeks!

I recommend to go for ZENMED Skin Support System - Dry Skin once. Cheers
Reply:I used to have an acute case of acne when I was younger for many years; it covered my face, back, chest and posterior. I eventually healed myself without the use of drugs. I cured myself through DIET.

-This is what you should avoid/elminate:

fried foods

White bread/flour

starch combinations during the same meal (e.g. potatoes and pasta)

soda/carbonated drinks

sugar/corn syrup

meat/dairy

soft foods (processed foods)

hydrogenated oils (in processed foods)

-you should increase your intake of:

fruits/vegetables, preferably organic (you should have a salad a day, at the least)

8 glasses of water a day

whole foods

black and/or brown bread (whole grains)

nuts

-you should have a balance, of 80% alkaline forming foods, to 20% acid forming foods. (mostly fruits and vegetables)

-----

Basically, your eliminations are poor/sluggish; thats is why some people can get away with eating badly, but you may not. The reason changing your diet to the foods below will help is because your eating foods that are much easier to digest and elminate than those above.

I would check out Edgar Cayce; without his advice I would probably still suffer today.

He also said you can help yourself through osteopathic adjustments to your spine, he said this can create imbalances in your nervous system (if it isn't in proper adjustment) which will affect everything else. I haven't done this yet, as it is expensive; but I assume when I do, I will be able to better digest the aforementioned foods. Through DIET ALONE I have been cured for a number of years.

Don't believe the people who say it doesn't effect it, I swear to god this will help. It helped me. =) good luck!

Just so others are aware, I'm copy/pasting this to others, so they can get advice, because I have been there. i'm not selling or advertising for anyone or anything, i'm not spamming. don't think that, if you see this advice elsewhere.
Reply:Ifyour skin is getting red hue, it may be rosacea.
