Washing my face causes dry skin?

Whenever I wash my face [soap or no soap], my face really drys up, there's flakes of skin just ready to be peeled off.

If I don't wash my face, the natural oils will clog my pores, and I start to break out, usually small whiteheads.

If I do wash my face, the dry skin clogs my pores, even though I've been using moisturizer, and they're usually under-the-skin sore pimples.

How do I approach an equilibrium, with a healthy face, with no pimples?
Washing my face causes dry skin?
Step 1). Wash you face with an acne fighting cleanser.

Step 2). Use a toner to PH balance your skin.

Step 3). Use a light moisturiser suitable for your skin type.

Twice a week use a mild exfoliator, once a week a purifying mask.

You will get the best results if you do all the steps.

Put on cream (for acne), or a moisturizer which is water based. Make sure you put a lot on- it should seem like you're putting on too much.
Reply:Use Cetaphil cleanser (it is soapless), spot treat zits with panoxyl, and get a really good moisturizer.

Also don't touch your face, that is how a lot of bacteria is spread. Even before washing your face, wash your hands. Pat your skin dry with a soft towel, and make sure to change your pillowcase every couple of days. That's what my dermatologist told me.
Reply:StriVectin is nice for softening skin. I am totally amazed by it, even though I thought for years it was a total gimick. Well, it might still be a gimmick for getting rid of wrinkles, but it does make your skin soft.
Reply:Dry skin types have to be extremely careful to protect their skin. Yogurt-honey combination helps dry skin. Make an egg pack with a yolk, a teaspoon of honey, a tablespoon of milk powder. This is beneficial to dry skin types. There are many helpful tips to cure dry skin at http://useinfo-dryskin.blogspot.com/
Reply:I have the same problem and I found a whole bunch of home remedies that work great. I will send you the links look at all of them they have a lot of information for you. One of the links is for a mask you can make and apply at home.
